Bio: Multiple award-winning composer Duncan Watt is the founder and creative director of Fastestmanintheworld Music and has been been writing, recording and producing music for TV, film, digital gaming and national performing artists since 1993. Recent projects include co-composing and orchestrating the original score to multi-platform AAA title Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway (PS3/360/PC, Ubisoft/Gearbox), and Watt recently provided music creation and editing on Need For Speed: Undercover (PS3/360/PC/DS, EA BlackBox). Before that, Watt composed and recorded the striking, evocative original orchestral score for Stargate Online TCG (PC, Sony Online) and the swashbuckling original orchestral score for Pirates CSG Online (PC, Sony Online) as well. His work appears in Need For Speed: Pro Street (multiple platforms, EA), CNN: Campaign Rush (online, CNN), CNN: Planet In Peril: Animal Rescue (online, CNN), Auto Assault (PC, NCsoft), Cosmic Blobs (PC/Mac, SolidWorks), and the international best-seller Rogue Galaxy (PS2, Sony). Before founding Fastestmanintheworld, Watt composed for a number of film and TV projects. His music has appeared on all major TV networks and many cable stations as well, and solo piano soundtrack for That Old Silent Film (OxRock, 2005) won Best Original Score at the Sundeis International Film Festival. Owner of recording studio Kanuba Digital and publishing company Kanuba Music(BMI), Watt has over 65 CD project credits to his name, as musician, recording/mixing engineer, producer and/or mastering engineer. From a family of classical musicians, Watt began piano training at a very young age and continues to teach from time to time. A respected New England-area first-call session player and sideman, Watt plays piano, keyboards, guitar, and most recently drums as well. Following a successful history composing for TV and film, Watt founded Fastestmanintheworld to focus on composing, voiceover and audio for digital gaming, and is currently working on a number of independent and AAA projects for release in 2009.
