Abstract: In creating our 13th title as a studio, we've figured out some of what makes a remarkable game. If you don't come to this talk, I can sum it up in one sentence: Experiment with everything! If you do come to this talk, I'll discuss the 5 things we did to create an indie title that's made its way into websites, magazines, and newspapers everywhere, from how we created (what I think is) an interesting concept, to how we made good decisions during the design process, to where we made our biggest mistakes.
