Bio: Mike Gray works for Hasbro as Senior Director of Global Product Acquisition for Games. Mike has a BA in Psychology from Carleton College in Northfield Minnesota. Before his career in game design he was a newspaper advertising sales rep and a systems analyst for the advertising department at the Minneapolis Star & Tribune. He worked for Milton Bradley for 3 years, designed 36 games that all got to market, and then set off to TSR to manage the design department. At TSR just over 2 years, he wrote two branching childrenB!G (Bs books, wrote several D&D adventures and designed the Fantasy Forest board game. When TSR got into financial trouble, Mike went back to MB and has been there ever since. As a lifelong game lover, Mike now has a job doing what he likes best -- playing new games. He travels around the world looking for the best ideas and brings them back to Hasbro. In the office, Mike shows Marketing and Design the new games, gimmicks and technologies he has found. At home, Mike plays EuroGames, DS games and PC games whenever he can. He is an avid reader of Science fiction, does Mayan relief carving with a hammer and chisels, and is a Red Sox fan. He has been in the games business for 32 years, has designed dozens of games (Fortress America, Shogun, Mall Madness, Omega Virus...) and owns thousands of board and card games.
