Bio: Odest Chadwicke Jenkins, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Brown University. He began this position in 2004 after his postdoctoral work at the Center for Robotics and Embedded Systems at the University of Southern California. Prof. Jenkins earned his B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics at Alma College (1996), M.S. in Computer Science at Georgia Tech (1998), and Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Southern California (2003). Prof. Jenkins' research interests focus primarily on robot learning, human-robot interaction, and motion capture systems. His broader interests include humanoid and mobile robotics, machine learning, computer vision, computer animation, and interactive entertainment.
