Abstract
Science and art go together in three ways. Sometimes art is inspired by
science, as in the work of Escher. Sometimes art illustrates science,
as in the work of Tufte. Sometimes art is engineered by science, and
that's the theme of my talk. It's a story of two guys in Worcester,
Burns (the hot one) and Sage (the wise one), who make artwork and ASK
HOW art works. We recently held an Art Tech Expo to showcase a wide
range of INTERACTIVE MEDIA (and one GAME), held live in 2005 and on the
web: http://www.ask-how.org/contents/on_line_exhibition.htm. I'll talk
about the Expo and focus on my own work in graphics, sculpture, poems
and games.
